My name is Lee.  I’m an amateur photographer and this blog is my attempt to enforce some order, or at least record the chaos, in my quest to record how I see the world through photography.

I am currently using a Canon Digital Rebel XTi.  I have the kit lens for the 50D (EF-S17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM).  I have the EF70-200mm f/4L USM for telephoto work, the really cheap 50mm prime for portrait/low-light work and a rather nice macro lens for that sort of thing.  The only filters I use are the circular polarizer, the 2X and 4X NDF and a split NDF, though I keep thinking I’ll use others and never do.

For the beginner, this means I’ve spent a lot of money on lenses.

I am hoping this blog serves two purposes.  To document my ideas and discoveries with respect to photography, and to serve as a resource for people starting this trip after I have.  Since the latter would require people to actually read it, I am really concentrating on the former.
